Made In Silicon Valley.org is a community development platform centered around building a healthy, sustainable Silicon Valley from the people up!

“The people” meaning all the generations have a role and share a common community focus of promoting youth leadership from k-12 that leads to the production of Alumni, who mentor Student Government Associations, they once attended as students.

The more Alumni a community produces, the more developed the community will become!

This vision is called Familyhood.

Familyhood is an systemic approach of building healthy, sustainable communities utilizing schools, (their location, their inter-generational population, their legacy and leadership of their youth) to be center of the communities development.

Familyhood is a 20 year vision.

Made In Silicon Valley  is a partner site to assist in growing towards Familyhood’s 20-year vision.

Familyhood is driven by two mottoes’:

1) Every school shall have a functioning Student Government Association, Parent Teacher Association and Alumni Association’s.

2) Every school shall have a garden, a farmers’ market and a grocery store.

In short, a school’s Familyhood is motto #1 organizations (Student Government Association’s, Parent Teacher Associations, and Alumni & Community partners ( Familyhood calls “Friends of The School).
